ENDING HOMELESSNESS: ONE LIFE AT A TIME
WHAT: A conference with relevant speakers where we will hear success stories, learn practical
strategies, and come together to create a system that empowers the homeless.
WHERE: Hemphill Presbyterian Church, 1701 Hemphill St (corner of Hemphill and Allen, one block
west of John Peter Smith Hospital), Ft Worth, TX.
WHEN: Saturday, May 3, 2008, from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm.
WHO: Speakers will include author Marvin Olasky, author and Christian Community Developer
John Perkins, and director of nationally recognized Good Samaritan Ministries of
Michigan, Michael VandenBerg.
WHY: To bring ministries and churches together to create a more effective and spiritually
empowering approach to the homeless citizens of Ft Worth.
COST: $10.00 per person - pay at the door
Snacks and drinks will be available
