Special Events

Special events are an important part of the ministry in Unity Park. Special days such as “Spring Fling,” and “Christmas in Unity Park,” are a couple of the activities that are provided for those homeless men and women and children who live in the East Lancaster area of Fort Worth. Tea Parties, Spa Days, and Makeovers are also a part of the special events designed for women. Volunteers who come and share their time and energy make these events possible.

Benefit Luncheon for Unity Park

You are cordially invited to enjoy lunch with us at Esperanza's at 12:00 on Thursday, September 23rd.

• We'll share the great work happening at Unity Park, the core of our ministry
• Otis Thornton, Homeless Program Director for the City of Fort Worth, will address how the church can partner with the city to alleviate homelessness in a meaningful way
• Enjoy a great meal of Joe T.'s chicken enchiladas, carne guisada, rice, beans, chips, salsa, and guacamole! 

Take a break from your busy schedule and join us for lunch. There is plenty of free parking behind the restaurant, and we will finish by 1:00pm. We will be meeting in the dining room of Esperanza's, the building directly south of Joe T. Garcia's main restaurant.
