ending lessness, one person at a time
Executive Director's CornerDear Friends,
2009 was a very good year for Feed By Grace. We hosted over 10,000 visitors at Unity Park as we opened our gates to the homeless and non-homeless alike of Ft. Worth. Unity Park has become much more than just a sanctuary and place of refuge for the homeless. It has become a venue for relationship building, inner healing, and meaningful interaction that all combine to create community. While we've come to expect the many stories from homeless folks who appreciate having access to the Park, it is the testimonies from "outsiders" that are often even more amazing. I've often said that the real ministry that takes place on E. Lancaster is that God uses the homeless to minister to and touch those coming in to "do ministry," more so than vica versa. 2010 is not only a new year, but a new opportunity to do even more. I believe with all my heart that God has called Feed By Grace to use Unity Park as a bridge between the homeless and The Church. We want to partner with churches to help expand existing programs and create new ones to reach more men and women to help them reclaim their lives. We need Christian men and women to serve as mentors, and Christian businesses to hire homeless individuals once they successfully complete a training/discipling program. We'd like to buffer the transition back to independent life by providing housing, and need Christians willing to teach life skills in this process. In short, we'd like to build and deepen relationships between those in need and those who want to help. To do this, we need your contributions of time, money, and most of all, prayers. Look for our newsletter beginning in April to learn more about what is happening at Feed By Grace. Blessings!!
In His Name,

and what the king had said to me. They replied, "Let us start rebuilding."
So they began this good work.
